ANNA KALINITSCHENKO
DThe artist Anna Kalinitschenko works with color as a central means of expression. Trained as a media designer and working as a self-employed visual designer, she has been engaged in visual communication, composition, and the emotional impact of design since 2005. These experiences continue to shape her artistic practice today.
Her transition into fine art developed as a natural extension of her design practice. On canvas, a space opens up where color can be explored intuitively, freely, and without external constraints. By layering transparent color fields, vibrant color spaces, depth, and dynamic compositions emerge.
Her works often evolve in several stages. Between individual layers of color, she allows intentional pauses – sometimes days, sometimes weeks. This process allows the colors to unfold and interact with one another.
Through her work, Anna Kalinitschenko aims to create spaces that inspire and evoke positive emotions. She understands color as a form of energy – capable of shaping atmosphere, awakening emotion, and bringing a sense of lightness into a space.
